Blog| Typersonality is typography with personality. Because you can't just love typography: you need to feel typography. There are hundreds upon hundreds of typography sites, groups, and projects, but this is something different. The aim of the group is to present pieces that have something more to them then just plain text or random words. We put inspiration and originality before flashy effects and meaningless messages. We are here to inspire and to be inspired, and we believe that empty typography inspires no one. A couple of rules, before you request to join: 1) Random typography will not be honored. Random words, without any sense or meaning whatsoever, will not be honored. We rely on a message of your piece more than anything else. 2) That being said, the piece cannot be too simple. Simplicity may be the highest form of sophistication, but at the same time it can be quite boring. 3) Logos are not typography in most cases, unless they represent some kind of message and the execution is interesting. 4) Please have a respectable amount of pieces gathered in your portfolio before you request to join: two typographical pieces are not enough to see if you have it in you. 5) If you're rejected, review your portfolio, and try again in the future. |
